Who doesn't love a good salad?
Kale salad is my go-to quick meal for when I want to eat healthy, on the go, lunch, and a dinner side.
I love cooking with kale because it is versatile, healthy, delicious, and nutritious!

Not only is this the best kale salad ever, but it's also so good for you!
I started making this kale salad base when I got tired of going to the chopped salad places. I said to myself, why not try to make it myself? With much practice, I finally got the base right so you all can add all of your favorite toppings in making the best kale salad ever.
Below is the recipe for the vegan kale salad base!
1/4 cup Olive Oil
Dash of Salt
Dash of Pepper
Goddess Dressing (optional)
Clean the kale in cold water and pat dry.
Place the clean kale in a large bowl.
Add the olive oil in the bowl with the kale.
With clean, hands, bruise the kale by massaging the kale until wilted. This should take about 10 minutes.
Taste the kale and make sure it's not bitter.
Add salt and pepper
Add goddess dressing (the goddess dressing is such a great base for the kale salad).
