Welcome to a new year: 2020! I love this time of year because everyone feels so inspired to start fresh, get rid of things that are no longer useful, positive attitudes, and just an overall change. The one thing I do like to do during the beginning of the year and the season is a winter detox.
A winter detox so can be beneficial especially after the holiday season when you're constantly eating all that delicious food including your grandma's famous macaroni and cheese, your aunts' turkey that she only makes once a year, and cakes and pies from your favorite bakery.
Then reality hits, you have to go back to work, and you're a little heavier than you were before. A winter detox is your solution.
WHAT IS A WINTER DETOX?
A winter detox is a simple purging and removing of toxic substances that have been processed through your liver.
There can be so many beneficial things when doing a winter detox including:
increase in energy
better bowel movements
This winter detox can be done right after the holidays, a couple of days during the week, or treat yourself during a weekend cleanse.
If you'd like to know more about the winter detox meals to do in a day, keep reading.
